Unboxing - Rising Sun

I supported Rising Sun, a Japanese mythology themed board game by Eric Lang, on Kickstarter and the game recently arrived - I think it was even a little early. I don't actually know almost anything about the game except that it looks sweet and I've liked a handful of Lang's other games, but I hope the pictures are at least a little interesting.

This one was painted before I started keeping a list. So... before November 2011. This is a mounted Warrior Priest of Ulric.

Empire, Grand Master of the White Wolf - Warhammer Fantasy

This one was painted before I started keeping a list. So... before November 2011. This is the Grand Master of the Knights of the White Wolf. To any Warhammer nerds: Yes, I know they should have red armour of some kind. Sue me, I prefer Middenland colours.

Raven Clan - Blood Rage

Back in November 2015 I painted the first four warriors for the Raven Clan in Blood Rage.

April 2016 I painted the clan ship.

Then I finally finished painting the clan in January 2018! Four more warriors, the leader, and two shaman.

Frost Giant - Blood Rage

Way back in December 2015 I painted the Frost Giant for Blood Rage, a board game set during Ragnarok in Norse myth.

Monsters for Conan! - Conan Board Game

In September last year I painted a handful of monsters for the Conan board game. From the left, back row first: Bone Golem, Gray Man Ape, Swamp Demon, Giant Scorpion, Giant Spider.

Empire Spearmen - Warhammer Fantasy

Back in September last year I painted this regiment for spearmen for Warhammer Fantasy. Sadly they will probably never see action, but that's not gonna stop me from painting the rest of my Warhammer minis!

The glare is what creates the weird white mess on the blue part of the banner... The highlighting is nowhere near that dramatic in real life.

Furniture - Conan Board Game

Through June, July, and August last year I painted all the furniture for the Conan board game. One exception is the book case, which my girlfriend started to paint. I'm giving her until I have painted Blood Rage before I finish it myself.
